The family, taking advantage of the father’s absence, decided to throw away the old bathtub. The father liked it and didn’t want to replace it, but he was away on a business trip, and his wife and some of his buddies organized the removal of the bathtub. They hoped it would be stolen, otherwise they would have to pay a fine. They dragged it outside, but it was so heavy that they decided to take a break. When they returned, the bathtub was gone. Someone had stolen it, though they were afraid of getting caught red-handed. They dragged the bathtub to their own home to replace some old one, but the stolen one didn’t fit in size.
The previous owners were happy, but then the father of the family suddenly returned and began tearing his hair out: he had glued a package of valuable papers to the bottom of the bathtub, which he had stolen a long time ago and had been waiting for the right moment to sell when no one would suspect him. The first family began frantically searching for those who had stolen the bathtub. It turned out to be their acquaintances, though they didn’t know it yet. The first family somehow found out about the second one, the bathtub was still with the second family, they had dragged it there, but for some reason they couldn’t bring it back. For example, it got stuck somewhere. In short, the first family chased the second to somehow get the bathtub (or the documents) back from them, while the second family ran away from the first, thinking they would be caught stealing.
Then it ends with the second family agreeing to reveal where the bathtub is for a share of the fortune. Now both families try to retrieve the bathtub again, but now it’s been taken by some homeless person who found the valuable items, sold them (for example, the valuable papers), and became a millionaire, then left the country. Both families chase after him as the plane is taking off. The stolen papers prevent anyone from demanding the former homeless person to return the wealth. It should end somehow funnily, for example, both families return to the bathtub and find out that one of the papers remained stuck to the package they were attached to the bathtub, and this valuable paper was torn off by one of the family’s dogs, playing, grabbed it in its teeth, and ran off. And both families run after this dog. The last frame of the film is a freeze-frame: a dog with flapping ears holding a paper in its teeth in the foreground running towards the camera, and behind it is a crowd of people – two families with crazy eyes running, reaching out to the dog.
