I’m not talking about wearing pants backward or sleeping upside down. I’m talking about the discomfort within. Since growth is always associated with stepping out of the familiar cozy ‘comfort zone’, in order to grow, you need to always (or at least most of the time, outside of sleep) feel the challenge. No books, seminars, trainings, universities, or knowledge will settle in the mind that always wants to stay in the world of the well-worn comfy chair (this is a metaphor).

And here’s another good indicator: if you have a sense that you’re doing something beyond your capabilities, beyond your strength, more than what you thought you were capable of – you’re growing, moving forward. The most amazing thing is that soon you’ll be doing the same things already “within the comfort zone”: you’ve grown to the extent that even this is no longer a “stretch” for you. This only shows that what you “thought” you couldn’t do, you can theoretically do.

Why is this such wonderfully great news? Because this “can do” attitude is endless. At the beginning of stepping out of the comfort zone, it seemed almost unattainable. But you kept doing it, didn’t give up – and what seemed unattainable turned out to be achieved. And it’s the same now. Sometimes you may think that many things are unattainable. For example, you can’t fly. But nobody knows that for sure. If there are cases of levitation – then you can fly. This is a rough example. I don’t believe we need to fly, although I would like to. But getting used to, for example, exercising every day – that’s real. And so on.

You can achieve incredible results, including many that seemed impossible. And one of the main conditions for achieving them is realizing that the impossible can become possible, no matter how impossible it may seem. Well, and going beyond the comfort zone. ALWAYS.
