Jump Entertainment faced a significant challenge with its original presentation and branding, which were designed by college students lacking professional experience. The resulting branding lacked sophistication and failed to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition to its target audience. The task at hand was to create a new identity and update a seed funding presentation to land a grant for a veteran-owned small business.

It’s a simple and almost free way the company can reach their target audience, build recognition and loyalty, and further establish its presence and promote itself with other people’s social media.
We have created anew logo and a brand new approach to the event promotion for Jump Entertainment. A new hashtag #jumpentertainment was proposed and new wearable merchandise urging to “Post with #jumpentertainment where karaoke and other event visitors would post their participation in the events with the hashtag therefore promoting events and the company with further giveaways among the participants.
Identity and Design – Brand Visual Message
Dark Grey Teal was used as a base color that was close but not matching the military green to avoid being too obvious in conveying that this is a veteran owned business. White and Light Tan were selected as supplemental colors.
Logo was originally proposed as a parachute carrying a brand name and a microphone to convey the entertainment nature of the business. But the owner settled on just the wording in strong fonts where JUMP – conveys dynamics and fast pace, and therefore is ultimately highlighted next to the supplemental “endertainment” part.
Implementation
The original pitch format was followed but design and wording updated as well as high resolution stock imagery added to convey the spirit of fun and popularity of the company events.
Results
As a result, company won seed funding to expand their business.
