Surfingshells.com is a brand new resort wear company that needed everything – market research, branding, identity design, website with e-commerce.
Challenge
To determine how to help this brand to stand out from the rest of the resort wear online stores. Clothing market is oversaturated but Surfing ShellsTM provides thoughtfully selected print on demand high quality clothing with unique hard to find prints and unique romantic shopping experience. The very nature of print on demand clothes allows to deliver great quality products without stocking up with product and also is a great avenue to fast adapting to market needs.
Solutions and Execution
After a competitor and market research, it was identified that the new brand niche hypothesis – is in romantic and dreamy exclusive prints for sporty resort wear and swimwear.
Therefore, it was decided create a brand name and its identity that will be both romantic and sporty and support it with extremely dreamy visuals and print solutions.

Identity and Website Design – Brand Visual Message:
One of the most romantic resort destinations, Maldives, was used as an inspiration to the overall brand and web design.
Surfing Shells logo resembles both shell and a curling wave that is associated with surfing. The main Brand color is dark intense teal with a grey hue – to resemble typical Maldives water color. Supplemental colors are light Sand Beige-Grey and Light Coral. All Colors fit beautifully into the ocean inspired sportswear theme.
